The Brunswick Teen Center (BTC) serves local teens grades 6-12 who need a safe and fun place to go after school. Open M/T/W 2:30-5:30, BTC really needs this grant money to improve the center in many ways including:

Laughter is good for you! Come to the People Plus Laughter Club from 1:15-2:15 pm on Mondays beginning January 23, to relieve stress and improve your outlook. You do not need to have a sense of humor to laugh; you do not need to be happy to laugh; and you do not need a reason to laugh. All you need is an open mind and the willingness to laugh. No special equipment, clothes or physical prowess needed.

The Alfred M. Senter Fund notified People Plus on Tuesday, December 6, that the Fund Committee has approved $5,000 in grants that will enable People Plus to replace aging computers with up-to-date Apple equipment and to cover the costs of SAT preparation classes that will be offered to area teens in the spring.
