Teen Center Coordinator: Jordan Cardone
The Teen Center @ People Plus is located at 35 Union St. in Brunswick. Entrance is through the front door on Union Street under the sign donated by Carrot Signs.
Membership is FREE for area teens in grades 6-12.
During the school year, we are open Monday-Wednesday from 2:30-5:30 and we follow the Brunswick school calendar for 1/2 days (hours 1:00-4:00) and holiday and snow days.
We have video systems, (Wii, x-box, nintendo, and 2 play stations), guitar hero, dance dance revolution and many other video games. We have computers with internet capability, a pool table, ping pong, arts and crafts supplies, lots of games, a small snack bar, free food whenever possible, karaoke, and a basketball hoop outside. If you are looking for help with homework, we can do that too!
We have one Coordinator and at least one volunteer, all with background checks, supervising the center each day. During the school year we also have many cool Bowdoin College students volunteering at the center!
Mission Statement
To provide a central place where young people can meet safely to explore creative outlets, share their talents, participate in inter-generational activities, and develop into well-rounded adults.
